Welcome, welcome to a new and very exciting project!
Today I am presenting the super cute Patchwork Plum Dress based on one of CocoWawa's best-selling patterns, the Plum Dress :)
For quite sometime, I have been dreaming of making a patchwork dress and realised that Plum would be the perfect pattern for it. Plum is easy to fit, it is available in two size ranges, quick to sew and beginner friendly. And which better way to share this new take on Plum than by organising a fun, Autumnal sew-along? :)
Patchwork Version
Regular version
Starting on Saturday the 28th of September, you will be able to join HERE (for free!) the SAL for the Autumnal Patchwork Plum Dress :) And no worries, you will have plenty of time to buy materials, etc, as the first newsletter and post will be just an introduction, followed by a little break for you to be able to get ready. (PSSST. The newsletter comes with a cheeky discount ONLY for those subscribed to the sew-along!).
To all those wanting to take part, I will be sending out newsletters with a link to a blog post with detailed information and pictures of the whole process each Saturday for 5 weeks.
And remember, even if you are subscribed to the regular monthly CocoWawa newsletter, you will need to join this specific one HERE to being able to follow the sew-along :)
You can of course sew at your own pace as the posts will always be available. Even if you miss a week, you can always catch-up later on.
And! you can also already get a fabric kit from the two lovely shops I have worked with on this. One is based in the UK, the lovely A Beautiful Thing, whose owner Jo provided me with the gorgeous Fableism fabrics for my sample and the other, the amazing Floyd the Fox, based in Germany for those customers in the EU :)
And this is not all. At the end of the sew-along, if you post your finished Patchwork Plum on Instagram using the hashtags #cocowawapatterns
and #cwpatchworkplumdress, you will all win a CocoWawa pattern of your choice just for taking part! You have time to post your own version until Friday the 29th of November.
Now I want to share with you the calendar and what you can expect each week:
