Description
Description
The versatile Broken Circles Quilt comes in three different sizes: baby, throw and twin. The pattern offers infinite colour combinations that will transform the main block and the look of the finished quilt every time you make it.
The main block that forms the ‘broken circle’ measures (when finished) 13.5’’ (width) x 12’’ (height) and it is constructed out of 4 units measuring 6’’x6’’ each (when sewn) and with a strip of sashing running vertically along the centre of the block, in between the units. The straight and longest side of pieces A, B and D measures 5''. The straight and longest edge of piece C measures 6.5''. In the case of the samples, the inner sashing pieces have the same colour as the white ones of the unit itself.
You can easily change the design and fabric combination to make the central sashing of the block stand-out. You will also find another two pieces of sashing running in between the main blocks.
With detailed instructions, technical drawings and tips to get the best results, we hope that you will love making the Broken Circles Quilt for yourself or for a loved one.
